CLASS DESCRIPTIONS
ONLINE GROUP RESISTANCE TRAINING FOR ADULTS 40+
This online Group Resistance Training class is designed for adults 40 and older and welcomes all fitness levels, from beginners to seasoned exercisers. Each session provides a safe, effective workout that participants can do in the comfort of their own home. The group training includes, but is not limited to, the use of bodyweight exercises, resistance bands, and/or handheld weights. Classes are held live on Zoom, allowing you to interact with others and receive real-time guidance and form corrections. Every exercise is demonstrated, and modifications are highlighted for those with biomechanical limitations and or chronic illness. Participants can work at their own pace, adjust workouts to their functional ability, and challenge themselves as they are ready. Participants will improve strength, stability, mobility, balance, and health in a supportive, fun group setting. This group training also includes education on the latest nutrition, health, and fitness topics.
PILATES
This online Pilates class is designed for adults of all ages and fitness levels. It is held live over Zoom and offers guided instruction to help improve core strength, flexibility, and body awareness. This class also addresses joint, back, and neck issues and is taught in a way that is inclusive for those with pain and limitations. Each session features a series of low-impact exercises focused on controlled movement and mindful breathing. Constant attention is given to modifications to ensure a safe and accessible workout for everyone.
STRETCH & RELAXATION
This online Zoom class is designed to welcome participants of all ages and ability levels. Every session features a variety of adaptable flexibility, mobility, and corrective movement exercises that can be modified to fit individual needs and goals. The class also educates participants about a wide variety of relaxation, breath work, and healing techniques and exercises. Careful attention is given to modifications and alternatives for each exercise for participants who have pain, limitation, and or chronic disease. Whether a person is new to exercise or looking to maintain their fitness level, this class provides a supportive space to improve health, flexibility, and overall well-being from the comfort of home.
YOGA & PILATES FUSION
This online Yoga and Pilates Fusion class is designed for participants of all ages and fitness levels, offering a unique blend of mindful movement, flexibility, grounding practices, and overall body strength-building. Held live via Zoom, each session combines gentle yoga exercises with core-strengthening Pilates exercises to enhance body awareness, balance, and core stability. The class provides clear instruction and supportive guidance, with modifications available to suit individual needs, chronic conditions, and or physical challenges. Whether participants are beginners or experienced practitioners, they will enjoy this class. It is a great way to restore and repair the body and cultivate overall wellness from the comfort of home.
